Pups should be due in mid-May. We're hoping for some highly athletic and versatile pups that fit the standard's description of character and look good too. HAPPY 15TH BIRTHDAY LUCY Arion's Nizzarda (whatever made me name her that?) known fondly as "Lucy, You got some 'splaInin' to do!" celebrated her 15th birthday in style, chasing the cat, grabbing the cat's squirrel and eating it, all but the tail, which you can see in the photo. Lucy has been a bad girl all her wonderful life and I love her for it. Lucy watches TV and protects us from any malcontents who may enter our home through that magic portal. Lucy also does distance learning classes on TV, watching the dog trainer, following commands, and then nudging at the TV trainer's hands to get her well earned treat. Ch Arion's Zeta Z Lammergieir FR Brevet. REBEL PASSES 15 YRS 8 MOS AND STILL KICKING My grand old friend, Rebel, is still spirited and loves life despite the aches and pains of ultra old age. I give thanks for each day he stays with me. His body is old but his spirit is the same loyal warrior. The other day in the yard, a person came by to ask for work and Rebel still wanted to defend. THe new breeding between Cyrano and Circe will tap into Rebel's Blitz and von Statorhof background and still be a line breeding on him. I hope to find a Rebel junior in the bunch. Tim Taylor and Arion's Yen to Go sweep all NAWBA tests Tim finally got to bring Go to the NAWBA Championships in Oct 2007. Go earned Herding Dog Champion and passed her Character Test where she defended against the threatening bad guy...Plus, brains and beauty, Jean Charles Masson, noted breeder judge from France, awarded Go an excellent rating in conformation. Way to GO! Gia & Zeta earn French Ring Brevet after Zeta's Canadian Championship Gia Anderson of Canada has piloted Can CH Arion's Zeta v Lammergeier FR Brevet to her French Ring Brevet under Dominique Piton at the CRA Championships. Congratulations to Gia and Zeta for a job well done and earned after many miles of driving enormous distances to training. Good luck getting ready for Zeta's Ring 1 title. Elektra & Velo send news about their new homes Elektra has gone to live in luxury with Arion's Rough Daddy with a great retired couple on 16 acres. Elektra reports that she loves the cooked egg every morning. Velo has gone urban and now lives in an up scale artsy neighborhood of Atlanta. He still gets to hunt birds and squirrels in his ample back yard.
